This is the latest release from the APS factory, now part of the APS collection. Most of these are Audemars Piguet replica watches, including popular models like the Royal Oak 15400, which is APS factory’s flagship model due to the superior clone 3120 movement it houses. How do the AP replicas from APS measure up? I think the quality is good, especially the movement used in the AP 15400. However, APS has yet to join the ranks of the major watch factories because the finish on the case and bracelet is not top-tier and cannot compare to ZF or J12, which have been producing AP replicas for a long time.

This time, the APS factory has released two models of the AP Royal Oak 15407: one in stainless steel and the other in rose gold. Both feature a skeleton dial and use the 3132 movement.

The stainless steel replica AP is made with 316L stainless steel. The case has a diameter of 41mm and a thickness of 10mm. The front of the case showcases fine vertical brushing, and the octagonal bezel is an exact clone of the original, with polished edges that sharply contrast with the brushed parts of the case. As for the crown, the sandblasted “AP” engraving is not as refined as what you see on ZF AP models, so APS factory still needs to improve this aspect.

The dial is skeletonized, revealing many mechanical parts. Many people are fans of this openwork dial style and have previously emailed me asking if there are good replicas of this skeleton AP. Now, it is in stock. Personally, I am not fond of watches with such an openwork dial; it is a bold design, and I prefer the standard models 15400 and 15500.

Lastly, I want to talk about the 3K factory. We know they have produced replica watches of the Patek Philippe Nautilus and Aquanaut, but now ordering Patek Philippe products is really slow. Today, I discovered the reason: 3K has started producing Daytona models under another name, BT. Their Daytona replicas are very expensive, but the good news is they use a super clone 4130 movement.
